FR: Nurse Joyseph

Pfft… this was a silly idea I had a while ago… but I couldn’t get it out of my head and here we are. Goose may be one of my most favorite characters I have ever made. I hope you enjoy ^^.

Nurse Joseph (Joyseph) Joy

You all know the Joy family legacy. The daughters of this fine family cover the pokemon globe lending their medical skills to pokemon in need. But what happens, when through some cruel twist of chromosomes, a Joy is born male? Well it’s not as uncommon as you’d think, and usually they would go to pursue research, or cashiers. They grow old standing around waiting to teach young trainers how to throw a pokeball. But here, we have Jason Joy, who decided to try to cross the gender barrier and become a nurse… No one would hire him, he was quickly given the name “Joyseph” which stuck (and he responds to it automatically). Twice he’s been arrested under suspicion of being a member of Team Rocket in disguise as a Nurse Joy. Now with the discovery of a new region, presents and opportunity for the medical hippie to finally make a name for himself in a place that is new enough not to have the ability to discriminate, although the people there may well. Joyseph with his assistant Goose work at many of the pokemon centers in the Fenta Region.

Joyseph: (Calm nature) is a light hearted, shy young man with a burning desire to be useful. The negative comments towards his manhood bounce off this Doc as he’s heard them all before. If he shaved his gawdawful beard and wore a dress, it would be difficult to tell he is not a normal Nurse Joy.

What is that look in her eye? Is she evil? Well… technically no. Her intentions are good, rather she is impatient and excited to finally have the chance to do work. She has been with Joyseph since he was just old enough to have pokemon, and after many years of being an assistant’s assistant, she is more than ready to do her duty. She likes needles.

“We hope to see you again.”
“Wait… you what?!”
